So the same Sunday that we did the Race For The Cure, I turned SIXTEEN! WOO HOO! We celebrated with a small family party and then a couple weeks later we had a huge Sweet Sixteen party for me (stay tuned for those pictures). Here are some pictures from our little minibirthday party.

October. The month of birthdays! We start with Grandpa on the 6th, Grandma on the 8th, my birthday is the 12th, Brandon's birthday is the 17th, Dad's birthday is the 21st, Unclue Sylvan on the 26th, and then Grandpa Wayne on the 28th!

Grandma and Grandpa came over on Monday night to celebrate their birthdays!

My First Choir Concert

So last Tuesday I had my first choir concert! I'm a part of the Westwood Women's Choir. It's awesome and a lot of fun and we did awesome at our concert! Below is a picture of me all dressed up to go sing. Apparantly, Mom didn't bother to take any pictures at the actual concert (?)

Family Night

Our family just LOVES family night. We get together with our entire extended family and have a lessons and celebrate birthdays once a month. Here's some pictures from our August family night. This particular evening, the Lunts and Grandma Pam joined us as well.

The Newest Addition(s) to Our Family!

Well, folks, surprise surprise! WE GOT TURTLES!

Brandon has been saving up for a turtle for quite some time now, and about two weeks ago, Dad brought three of them home!

This is the only female, Sally. She "belongs" to Ella.
Last but not least is my personal favorite, SQUIRT! He is the smallest turtle, and my mom had the honors of naming him. :D

The First Day of School!

So after our busy summer, it was about time for school to start!

Well, I started tenth grade this year at Mountain View High School. (I bet you all have heard this story.) That wasn't a good experience for me, so after a couple of weeks, I switched over to Westwood High School and I love it there!

Jaidyn started eighth grade this year! She is still attending Poston Junior High School, and she loves it there. She also hates that I go to Westwood. (You don't believe me, ask her about it.)
Brandon (what a stud) is in second grade at MacArthur and is lovin' it.
Our little Ella Bella is all grown up (sorta). She started kindergarten at MacArthur and is loving attending the same school as Brandon!

Our (Late) Summer Re-Cap!

Yes, yes I know, long time, no blogging. But hey, better late than never, right? I figured I had better start from the beginning. So here is our extremely belated summer re-cap!!

We started our exciting (and busy) summer with a trip to the East Coast. I didn't put all of our pictures on here, but I chose a couple of the good ones from when we were in New York.

This is our family in front of the Statue of Liberty. We took a ferry over to Ellis Island and toured the statue. It was amazing!

This is a SWEET shot I took standing at the base of the statue. Shows you just how tall Lady Liberty really is!

This is a picture of the Rockefellar Center. One of Mom's favorites.

This was one of my favorite places - the New York Public Library (typical me). The architecture was absolutely incredible, and well, so were the books, of course!
Grand Central Station! We travelled mostly by subways and by foot for our week in New York City.

We went to the top of the Rockefellar Center. It was amazing. You could see for miles!

Well, after our vacation, Ella and Brandon did swim team at Poston Jr. High. This is Ella after she went to the semi-finals. (Brandon's picture wouldn't upload.)

In late June, I went to EFY in Flagstaff at NAU with Capri. This is a picture of the girls in our company. We became really close friends during our week together.

This is a picture of our whole company. Our name was Able to Bear It. It's amazing how close you can bond with a group of kids in just a week's time. I miss all my EFY buddies and I can't wait to see them. As always, EFY was an incredible experience!

Well, after EFY, things didn't slow down for anybody! Girls' Camp, here I come! So this year, since my mom is now in Primary, she thought that she wouldn't have to go to camp. SHE WISHES! She was called to be a YCL leader! HAHA! This is her group of girls.

So, since this was my fourth year at Girls' Camp, I attended A-Camp! We went two days earlier than everyone else and did some real camping! We had a group of fourteen girls and eight leaders, plus our our YCLs. We really became close, especially since our group was so small. A-Camp was AMAZING! This picture was taken when we were returning to main camp on Thursday.

Thursday night, all of the A-Campers put on a program for the rest of the girls. (After showers, of course!)

FUN FRIDAY! On Friday we did tons of fun activities and just hung out with our buddies.

Scuba Diving! The Young Women in our ward went scuba diving in our pool, and Dad decided to join us! He seemed to have tons of fun. I know I did!

This summer, Jaidyn did her Playgroup again. She had lots of little ones running around here on Tuesdays! She had fun, though, and made lots of mula!

So It Begins...

Well, since this is our first post EVER, I figured I would start by telling a little about our family. Since there is no way Mom could find the time to blog, I offered to do it for her! So we will try to post as often as possible and keep you all updated on the things that go on in our lives!

Mom and Dad (AKA Jon and Misty) were married on May 31, 1998. They both work incredibly hard to provide for our family. They are very loving and caring and they always point us in the right direction. Thank you! We love you!

So...this is me. I will be sixteen in October! Mom can't quite believe that I will be dating and driving. She has yet to accept the fact that I'm growing up! (Please, if you talk to her, reassure her that she isn't really THAT old). I have a lot of goals in life, including getting married in the temple (NOT before I'm twenty-two) and getting in to Brigham Young University and majoring in neuropharmacology. Dad always says, "The best time to start is now," and since I will be applying to colleges NEXT YEAR (whoa) I had better get started! So this next school year, I will be taking ALL advanced classes at Mountain View High School. Talk about having NO life. Wish me luck!

This is Miss Jaidyn. She will be in eight grade this year at Poston Junior High School. She is growing up so fast, too! She has lots of friends and enjoys school (for the most part). She is very loving and helpful around the house and with Brandon and Ella. Jaidyn seems to have a very special talent with young kids. She is really good at keeping them entertained. She is a vital part of our family-what would we do without her?
The Golden Child. Need I say any more? Just kidding Mom...Brandon is definitaly the ONLY boy in this family. And believe me, the kid is ALL boy. He will be starting second grade at MacArthur Elementary School on Monday. He is really excited! Brandon has a great sense of humor and never fails to make us roll our eyes and laugh. Brandon is the type of kid who thinks he is completely invinsible and indestructable. "If a car is coming at me, I will move it!"

Ella Bella Pumpkin Pie. Ella is really excited to be starting Kindergarten at MacArthur. She is super psyched because she will be going to the same school as Brandon. Ella is our little show girl. She is always singing and dancing. Some of her favorite shows to sing and dance to are High School Musical and Camp Rock. She loves shopping and buying shoes! That's my girl!

Brandon and Ella are BEST friends. There's no other way to put it. They get along extremely well, and they love each other to pieces!

Jaidyn and I are also pretty close.
